Anderson Silva KOed Vitor Belfort in the First Round with Segal’s Oriented Front Kick

UFC 126 Recap – Anderson Silva faced maybe one of his toughest opponent in the Octagon, but Vitor Belfort comes short and he was KOed in the first 3 minutes of the round one. With a heated argument between the two and a masked Silva in the weigh-in the fight was predicted not to be a long fight for the main event.

Dana White is furious about this fighter because of their counter attack style and he said that he might be seeing a legendary staring match.

In the fight itself we have seen both of this world, as predicted to have a slow start, Silva and Belfort didn’t engage until the 2nd minute of the round one. Silva was hit 1-2 punch by Belfort and keep his posture. As ego comes in the way, it was clearly seen that Silva also want to hit back Vitor. And in the 3-minute mark of the first round, Vitor throws wild punches while Silva evade and as he close his range to Belfort, Silva landed his popular front kick and rocked Vitor on the ground.

The fight ended after the referee stopped the fight after Silva landed two clean shots on Vitor’s head while on the mat. The known front kick was later acknowledge by Silva as one of Segal’s teaching that made this fight a very short one.
