Many talks about Dan Henderson’s retirement but this time it’s different. Dan “Hendo” Henderson entered the Strikeforce’s Octagon and faced the Light Heavyweight Champion Rafael “Feijao” Cavalcante. The Strikeforce : Henderson vs Feijao event which is also known as Strikeforce : Columbus was held last March 5, 2011 at the Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio, United States.
We expect some fireworks between this two fighter, Hendo is a vicious striker with a devastating “H-Bomb” while Feijao is a brazilian BJJ and also a striker. Hendo is known for his overhand right which is also known as the “H-Bomb”, this punch was popularized when Hendo meet Michael Bisping for the coach vs coach match in the UFC’s The Ultimate Fighter event.
The championship bout consists of five round but it was ended at the third round with Dan Henderson’s H-Bomb. But here is some of the notable events in the first round, the fight started with the two fighter measuring up. Hendo is the first one to engage as he ready for his right. But Feijao is also loaded with a heavy hands , he rocked Hendo but Feijao is not ready to finish the game as Dan started to response quickly after the punch. The second round is Hendo’s round as he successfully taken down Feijao for a couple of times.
The fight ended in the middle of the third round when Hendo landed the overhand right and Feijao face plant in the mat while Hendo finish the fight by ground and pound.
So Dan Henderson is not retiring yet, maybe he will get back to UFC for a bigger paycheck or stay with Strikeforce back to the Middleweight division. So what do you think?
